Trailer
A short statement of what KGNG is, who it is for, and why the show exists now.
The trailer introduces the core tension behind the project: hearing the word is not enough without action. It should function as the simplest possible entry point for a first listener discovering the show on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or the website.
Trailer Goal
Introduce the show in under two minutes. The trailer should make three things clear fast:
- what this podcast is about
- who it is for
- why listening should lead to action, not just agreement
Listener Promise
This is for people who are tired of carrying Christian language without real spiritual movement. The promise is not hype, polish, or empty inspiration. The promise is honest, Scripture-rooted conversations that press toward obedience.
Runtime Target
Aim for 90 seconds to 2 minutes.
That is long enough to establish tone and short enough to work as a platform trailer for first-time listeners on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and the microsite.
Structure
- Hook: Name the tension. A lot of people hear the word, quote the word, post the word, and still do not live it.
- Show identity: Explain what Know God Now Go means.
- Audience fit: Call in listeners who want more than surface-level faith language.
- Launch arc: Briefly preview the first three episodes.
- CTA: Invite listeners to follow the show and prepare to move, not just listen.
Tone Direction
- direct, sober, clear
- spiritually serious but not theatrical
- confident without sounding performative
- pastoral enough to feel invitational, but sharp enough to confront passivity
Draft Script
A lot of people know the language of faith without truly knowing God.
We know the verses. We know the phrases. We know how to sound spiritual. But knowing about God is not the same as walking with Him.
This is Know God. Now Go.
A podcast about knowing God honestly through His word, and then living what He says with real obedience.
The burden behind this show is simple: it is possible to hear the word, agree with the word, even admire the word, and still remain unchanged. Scripture warns us not to be hearers only, deceiving ourselves, but doers of the word.
So this podcast is for the person who wants more than religious vocabulary. More than image. More than routine. It is for the person who wants truth, conviction, clarity, and movement.
In the opening episodes, we will ask what it really means to know God, confront the divide between hearing and doing, and talk about the kind of blessing that follows obedience.
If you are ready for faith that is not just spoken, but lived, follow the show and join me on Know God. Now Go.
Spoken Read Version
This is the cleaner version to record first. It keeps the same theology, but sounds less written on the mic.
A lot of people know how to talk about God, but do not actually know Him.
We know the words. We know the verses. We know how to sound like people of faith. But knowing about God is not the same as walking with Him.
This is Know God. Now Go.
A podcast about knowing God through His word, and living what He says with real obedience.
This show exists because it is possible to hear the word, agree with the word, and still never be changed by it. Scripture tells us not to be hearers only, but doers of the word.
So if you are tired of surface-level faith, tired of performance, and hungry for truth that actually changes how you live, this podcast is for you.
In the first three episodes, we are going to talk about what it means to know God, why hearing is not the same as obeying, and why obedience still matters.
If you are ready for faith that is lived and not just discussed, follow the show. This is Know God. Now Go.

60-Second Cut
If platform behavior or pacing makes the full trailer feel too long, this shorter cut still works.
A lot of people know how to talk about God, but do not actually know Him.
They know the language. They know the routine. They know how to sound spiritual. But hearing the word is not the same as living it.
This is Know God. Now Go.
A podcast about knowing God through His word, and walking in obedience to what He says.
In the opening episodes, we will talk about what it means to know God, the divide between hearers and doers, and the blessing that follows obedience.
If you are ready for faith that moves, follow the show.
Optional Tighter Alt Ending
If you are ready to stop performing faith and start walking it out, follow the show. This is Know God. Now Go.
Recording Notes
- Read it slower than normal speech.
- Leave a short pause after “This is Know God. Now Go.”
- Put the strongest emphasis on “hearers only” and “doers of the word.”
- Keep the close firm and clean. Do not add a long outro.
- Start with restraint, then build intensity in the middle instead of sounding fully charged from line one.
Pickup Lines
If a few lines need to be swapped during recording, these can be dropped in without rewriting the whole trailer:
- “Too many people can describe God without surrendering to Him.”
- “Agreement is not the same thing as obedience.”
- “This show exists for people who do not want to stay spiritually unchanged.”
- “The goal is not just to hear truth, but to live it.”
