Freeway uses your iPhone's motion sensors and driving signals to detect automotive movement. When it identifies a drive, it marks you as driving so contacts know not to call. You can override your status manually.
Yes — Freeway is two-sided. Both you and your contact need the app installed to see each other's availability. The more of your contacts who join, the more useful it becomes.
No. Freeway never shares your location with anyone. Location access is used only on your device to help detect driving. Your contacts see only your availability status — Free, Busy, or Driving — never where you are.
Download Freeway and sign in with your phone number. You'll receive a one-time SMS verification code. Once verified, Freeway matches your contacts against other Freeway users automatically — no usernames or extra setup required.
